Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models aligned with the AACN Synergy Model. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Provide top-of-scope practice in a multidisciplinary team setting, ensuring competency validation throughout clinical orientation. This full-time night shift role requires 6 months of ICU or PCU experience, ACLS certification, and a current BLS card, with pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
