Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a technically complex environment, prioritizing wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach. Support clinical educators in guiding individualized specialty education and competency validation for new hires. Maintain ACLS and current BLS certification, ensuring all cards remain valid through sixty days of hire. This full-time, night shift role requires 72 hours per pay period in Colorado Springs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
