RN - ICU (Full Time, Nights), St. Vincent

Lead the 20-bed ICU medical/surgical unit by assessing patient responses, implementing nursing care plans, and evaluating outcomes for patients with pulmonary, GI, surgical, GU, post-partum, and psychiatric conditions. Assign or delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff based on patient needs and skill levels, while managing charge duties, staff lunches, and interdisciplinary team evaluations. Promote patient safety initiatives and quality improvement projects, provide verbal and written feedback to peers, and maintain a culture where risk-taking is safe and expected. Continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction, resolve concerns, and utilize effective time management to complete assigned duties within the established work shift.
