Job Summary
Registered Nurse — ICU at Oswego Health, full-time days. Provides total nursing care to patients of all ages (neonatal to geriatric) in the ICU, plans and evaluates patient care, administers medications, documents in medical records, and adheres to infection control guidelines. Leads unit activities, delegates staff assignments, ensures safety, and maintains equipment and crash cart readiness. Requires NYS RN licensure, graduate from an accredited nursing program, CPR certification, and unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, telemetry, PACU orientation within the first year). Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and patient safety focus essential. Sign-on bonus offered; compensation ranges from $34.68 to $44.32 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- RN license in NYS
- Current CPR certification
- ACLS, PALS, telemetry, and PACU orientation within first year of hire (per unit)
