RN ICU Full Time Days

Job Summary

Conduct patient-centered care in the ICU, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing complex medical equipment like ventilators and ECMO. Perform procedures including intubation, wound care, and suturing while responding to medical emergencies and life-saving interventions. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions, and advocate for patient rights. Scrub for surgeries, assist with catheterization, and manage post-operative recovery in PACU, NICU, and OR settings. Maintain infection control protocols, document care thoroughly, and participate in performance improvement initiatives and audits.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
  • Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
  • Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
  • Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
