Job Summary
Provide patient-centered care in an ICU/critical care setting following the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and physician orders. Coordinate and deliver high-quality care; administer medications and monitor for side effects; assist physicians during procedures within competency; collaborate with healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans; respond to emergencies (CPR/code team) and participate in life‐saving interventions as appropriate; educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care; enforce infection control protocols; monitor and operate medical equipment (ventilators, IV pumps, monitors); promote patient safety and maintain a clean, safe environment; participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance-improvement initiatives; maintain professional development and clinical competency; licensure and certifications required (RN state licensure/compact, BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred).
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
