Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor for side effects while documenting care accurately. Manage complex medical equipment including ventilators and IV pumps, and perform procedures such as inserting central lines and managing tracheostomies. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, respond to medical emergencies, and implement infection control protocols. Provide patient and family education on medical conditions and post-discharge care, ensuring adherence to instructions. Maintain regular attendance and comply with all organizational policies and standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
