Job Summary
RN in ICU at UMass Memorial Health (Southbridge, MA) with 36-hour night shifts (7P-7A) responsible for planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge; performs patient assessments, develops/discharges plans of care, coordinates and evaluates nursing care, delegates per competency, documents care, and participates in education, governance, and quality-improvement activities; administers medications and therapies, supports collaborative care, and adheres to department policies and safety standards; requires MA RN licensure and completion of an accredited nursing program plus BLS (ACLS if required) with potential HBO/Hyperbaric specialization; standard staffing and attendance expectations apply.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts licensure and registration
- Completion of an accredited school of nursing program
- BLS certification (required for RN) or ACLS if current
