Job Summary
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Note: Must sign agreement to float to a minimum of three VHS facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of Nursing (RN)
- Current Nevada RN license
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department
- Approved Crisis Management Course
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s)
- Note: Must sign agreement to float to a minimum of three VHS facilities
