Job Summary
Complete a guided transition into emergency nursing through structured curriculum and experienced preceptors while delivering patient-focused, whole-person care. Apply specialized training to support the most vulnerable in our communities across Anchorage, Eagle River, Kodiak Island, Mat-Su, Seward, and Valdez. You will work full-time on multiple variable shifts in the Emergency Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center, adhering to a 100-year tradition of serving the poor and vulnerable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
- 1017 Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
- 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty)
- more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience
