Job Summary
Complete guided transition into emergency nursing specialty through structured curriculum, experienced preceptors, and hands-on learning. Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care in the Emergency Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse License and complete required Trauma and Pediatric Emergencies courses within six months of hire. Requires more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Full-time variable shifts available with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates meeting all conditions.
Required Qualifications

- November 2026 RN Emergency Fellowship
- more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
- 1017 Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
- 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty)
