Job Summary
Provide patient care in Mercy South Emergency Department using the nursing process; coordinate care with ED physicians and other departments; participate in a 16-week Nurse Residency program; meet Missouri RN licensure requirements and maintain licensure; night-shift schedule (6:00pm-6:30am); 36 hours per week; new graduate-focused residency with sign-on bonus and loan/tuition support; work in a Level 2 Trauma Center, Stroke and STEMI center with a 63-bed unit and ED team-focused environment; responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care while adhering to Mercy Service Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure
- Current licensure requirements per state board of nursing for active nursing duties
- New Grad Nurse Residency enrollment or participation as applicable
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
