Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care for colorectal surgery patients of all ages. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans while administering treatments and documenting accurately in electronic medical records. Identify patient and family education needs, advocate for psychosocial rights, and participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives. Manage resources, prioritize tasks, and support orientation of new employees within an ambulatory setting. Requires current Virginia RN licensure, AHA BLS-HCP certification, and keyboarding skills. Full-time day shift position with a compensation range of $27.70 to $41.55.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Eligibility to obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Keyboarding skills
- Computer literacy including use of electronic medical records

- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
