Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals across all age groups to achieve optimal outcomes. Document age-specific assessments, administer treatments and medications accurately, and coordinate care delivery while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Identify and address patient and family education needs, advocate for patient rights, and participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives. Manage resources, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing patient care needs while supporting the orientation and training of new employees. Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards. Requires current Virginia RN licensure, AHA BLS-HCP certification, and keyboarding skills. Day shift position at 101 Elm Ave in Roanoke.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program
- Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Eligibility to obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Keyboarding skills
- Computer literacy including use of electronic medical records
