Job Summary
Coordinate and direct safe patient care and throughput across the emergency department, patient registration, and nursing units. Serve as the clinical resource for direct and indirect care processes, lead hospital Codes and emergency management, and act as an agent for executives in their absence. Physically make rounds on units, participate in patient care including IVs and transport, and manage clinical aspects of patient transfers and stability. Respond to all STAT calls and inhouse emergency codes, providing support in directing Code Blue and RRT efforts. Collaborate with leadership to ensure adequate staffing and facilitate process development for quality care. Maintain high skill levels through ongoing education. Schedule is varied 0700-1900 or 1900-0700.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within two (2) years of hire or transfer to role
- Two (2) years of clinical RN experience
- RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable
- The schedule for this position is Varied 0700-1900 / 1900-0700
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- One (1) year of clinical leadership experience
