Job Summary
RN House Supervisor PRN oversees daily nursing operations on a per diem basis, coordinating nursing staff activities, managing resources, and addressing clinical or operational issues during shifts. Serves as liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and hospital administration to maintain communication and workflow. Responsible for monitoring patient care standards, supporting clinical decision-making, responding to emergencies, and ensuring safe, patient-centered care while supervising and guiding the nursing team during assigned shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care hospital setting
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Ability to work flexible hours on a PRN (as-needed) basis
- Excellent conflict resolution and team-building skills
