Job Summary
RN House Supervisor – provides hospital-wide leadership to departments and divisions, ensuring safe, high-quality care; oversees operations in the absence of senior leaders, mentors nursing staff, applies performance improvement methods including Lean Six Sigma, and collaborates with physicians and administrators to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities include staffing and budgetary oversight, coordination of patient throughput, incident command and emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Requires an RN license and relevant advanced nursing/administrative education; night shift role in a Georgia hospital within the Wellstar system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher (RN license required)
- Master's degree in Nursing or MBA/Health Administration preferred
- Current RN license in Georgia or eligibility to practice in Georgia
- Ability to obtain/maintain required certifications as specified by Wellstar
- Leadership/management experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Lean Six Sigma experience or training preferred
