Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a technically complex environment. Support patients and teams across University of Colorado Hospital, Highlands Ranch Hospital, Broomfield Hospital, and Longs Peak Hospital while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care by utilizing evidence-based care models aligned with AACN's Synergy Model. Requires state licensure as an RN, ACLS certification, and six months of ICU or PCU experience. Work nights in a full-time float pool role with a quarterly incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience
- completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- Work nights
