Job Summary
RN sought for Hospital Resource / Float Pool in Maternal Child at Abington (Per Diem Nights). The role involves delivering patient- and family-centered nursing care using the nursing process, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and designated care partners, and integrating evidence-based practice. The nurse will work within inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care; participates in education for patients and families; engages in quality and safety activities, performance improvement, and committee work; and may serve in a preceptor role to staff. BSN strongly preferred; current RN licensure in the state of employment and AHA BLS CPR certification required. Night shift. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in state of employment
- BSN preferred or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire
- AHA BLS CPR certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Maternal Child Float Pool experience preferred
