RN Hospital - Med Surg

RN on Medina Hospital 2 South general medicine unit providing direct nursing care, implementing and updating patient care plans, administering prescribed medications, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, coordinating discharge needs, and educating patients and families. Responsibilities include independent bedside care for pre-surgical and medically/surgically complex patients, with opportunities for growth via a Nurse Residency program. Night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend/holiday requirements; relocation assistance available. Unit features include 25 patient beds and a multidisciplinary care team in a Magnet-designated hospital setting; preventive safety programs and influenza vaccination requirements are part of employment. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and acute care experience; BSN preferred and prior Magnet/educational supports referenced.
