Job Summary
Capitol Hill-Central Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Night RN for the Float Pool to provide nursing care across ED/Urgent Care and Med Surg Telemetry. Responsibilities include prioritizing care, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with the health care team, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards. Must have ED experience, be able to interpret cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with CNAs, MAs, Respiratory Techs, and other staff. Requires WA state (or Multistate Compact) RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 6 months) with PALS numbers provided in application. Night shifts, floating between ED/UC and Med Surg Telemetry, and a focus on high-quality patient care within Kaiser Permanente’s Capitol Hill facility. Beneficial to have ambulatory care or BSN and emergency department experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License: Registered Nurse required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
