Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Birth Center, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, and NICU units using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Complete orientation, obtain NRP certification within six months, and maintain current BLS/CPR credentials. Full-time nights shift with a three-year incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and PSLF assistance.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
