Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Birth Center, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, and NICU units using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while modeling proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Complete orientation requirements including NRP certification within six months and maintain current BLS or CPR certification. Participate in the night shift incentive pay program upon completion of orientation. Join a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- Valid driver's license
