Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Birth Center, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, and NICU units. Prioritize evidence-based practice, patient wellness, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to ensure safety and quality at the point of care. Model proficiency by precepting new nurses and supporting individualized specialty education through Clinical Educators. Maintain current NRP, BLS, and relevant OB certifications, with cards valid through sixty days of hire. This full-time night shift role includes a night shift differential and eligibility for a three-year incentive bonus upon tenure completion.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
