Job Summary
Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care, prioritizing neurological, cardiac, and minor injury cases. Interpret cardiac rhythms, identify baseline changes, and coordinate admissions from PACU and ED for extended observation or direct admission to Med Surg Telemetry. Collaborate with providers, CNAs, respiratory techs, and pharmacy to provide high-quality care while adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington standards. Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire, with PALS required within six months.
Required Qualifications
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- WA State and/or Multistate Compact RN license
- Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Registered Nurse License (Washington)
- Compact License: Registered Nurse
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Communication skills

- Emergency department nursing experience
