Job Summary
Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care in the NICU at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Provide specialized nursing support to newborns and their families while maintaining a culture of mutual respect and understanding. Maintain an Alaska Registered Nurse license and complete the NRP certification within 90 days of hire. Work full-time 36-hour weeks across three 12-hour night shifts. Requires one year of nursing experience and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, and a hiring bonus for eligible external hires.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire
- 1 year - Nursing experience
