Job Summary
Ambulatory Nurse (RN) in Ambulatory Surgery/Ambulatory Care providing care to individuals/families within RN scope; responsibilities include comprehensive nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), documentation, health education, and precepting staff/students; leads quality-improvement initiatives, conducts telephone triage using the RSOAP method, performs sterile procedures, manages lab specimens, injections (allergy/epinephrine-related), skin testing, intradermals, nebulizer therapy, Xolair injections, prior authorizations, and surgery scheduling; serves within Carle Health network in central/southeastern Illinois with Magnet-designated facilities and emphasis on patient care excellence; equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois
- RN scope of practice as defined by Illinois Board of Nursing
- Possession of appropriate nursing license
