Job Summary
RN Hospice Spokane- Weekends: Utilize nursing care within a multidisciplinary Hospice team. Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols. Collaborate with nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency. Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and staff; advocate for ethical and holistic care that respects autonomy, dignity, and diverse backgrounds. Weekend position with 0.6 FTE, engaging in weekend scheduling and care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification
- National Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred
- One (1) year Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
- One (1) year Medicare Certified Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
