Job Summary
Direct and indirect quality care for patients and families of all ages according to individualized needs, following the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act. Manage a caseload of patients living within the service area of hospice and coordinate patient care activities with other members of the health care team to promote patient comfort. Travel to see patients in Jackson and Josephine counties under the direction of the Hospice Clinical Supervisor and on order of the physician. Accept professional development as an integral part of nursing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Medical/surgical experience
- recent acute care or long-term care experience
- Experienced in EOL care
- Travel to see patients in the Jackson and Josephine counties
Desired Qualifications
- Recent Oncology or Home Hospice or Home Health experience
