Job Summary
Hospice Nurse traveling within the Portland Metro area (primarily East Portland and Clackamas County) provides direct and indirect quality care to patients of all ages under physician direction. Keeps to the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act, coordinates patient care activities with the health care team, and supports professional development. Maintains confidentiality, punctuality, and attendance while contributing to a patient-focused, whole-person care approach as part of Providence Home Services Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years Medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting or equivalent (medical/surgical, long term care, home health or hospice)
- Experience using electronic medical record software
