Job Summary
RN Hospice Per Diem at MultiCare seeks an RN to join a hospice team. The role involves organizing patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating using the nursing process, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to improve quality of care and patient experience, and fostering a learning environment for patients, families, and staff. Requires WA RN license (or MLS), BLS, and hospice/home health experience is preferred; position is per diem with variable shifts and a focus on compassionate end-of-life care within the MultiCare system in Washington. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire
- RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification
- National Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred
- One (1) year Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
- One (1) year Medicare Certified Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
