Job Summary
PRN night shift RN for Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton's Hospice House with potential float to Troy & Middletown IPUs. Shifts are 7:00pm–7:30am. Provide care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, evaluation) and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team. Requires active Ohio RN license; ASN preferred, BSN preferred. CPR; CHPN preferred (eligible within 2 years of employment after 500 hospice/palliative hours). Driving ability and valid auto insurance required. Mileage reimbursement, matching retirement plans, preceptorship, education programs, and opportunities for career growth offered. Able to float regionally as needed; hospital-based, inpatient hospice care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
- Two years acute care nursing experience preferred
- ASN preferred; BSN preferred or higher
- CPR Certification
- CHPN preferred; required within two years of employment (eligible upon 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience)
- Computer skills for documentation
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- State minimum automobile insurance coverage
