Job Summary
Conduct end-of-life care for patients and families in private homes, residential facilities, and nursing centers. Supervise licensed vocational nurses and nursing aides while maintaining compassionate communication and keen observation of patient conditions. Alert physicians promptly regarding changes in patient status. Requires RN licensure, valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. One year of clinical experience is strongly preferred, with previous home health or hospice experience also preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
- Must have automobile liability insurance
- Must have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience
- Previous home health or hospice experience
