Job Summary
RN Homecare role featuring weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) in Toledo, OH. Provide basic and skilled nursing care, assess and set care priorities, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team. Requires graduation from an accredited RN program, state RN licensure (OH; MI licensure possible), CPR certification, and driving ability with insured vehicle. Preferred BSN, 2+ years medical-surgical/homecare/hospice experience, EMR experience (Netsmart), strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills; ability to work independently and deliver patient and family education within hospice principles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
- Currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing; must be able to obtain a license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- EMR experience with Netsmart preferred
- CPR certification per AHA standards
- Valid driver’s license with automobile in good working condition and insurance
- Hospice philosophy, pain/symptom management, and adult teaching principles
