Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care units (Med-Surg) utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity patients. Prioritize wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This onsite role supports the new 18-bed Surgical Specialty acute care unit in Loveland, Colorado, serving non-trauma surgical and medical patients. Night shifts are available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Must be available for Night shifts
