Job Summary
RN position in UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital (ER) requiring acute care nursing in the Emergency Department up to Level 1 trauma designation. Direct patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration, mentorship/precepting of new staff, and ongoing education to ensure safety and quality. Role includes clinical orientation support, adherence to evidence-based practice, and engagement in safety and quality initiatives. Open for nights as a PRN onsite role with no hybrid/remote work option. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ENPC or PALS. TNCC or ATCN within 1 year
- Registered Nurse
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
- PALS Certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
