RN - Heart & Vascular ICU

RN on a Heart & Vascular/Cardiothoracic ICU unit providing continuous patient care from admission to discharge. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, supervising non-RN staff, and serving as charge nurse and preceptor. Demonstrates neuro assessment, airway management, care for trached patients, post-operative cardiac surgery care, ventilation support, and utilization of the unit’s procedures and policies. Functions within the nursing team to meet patient needs, coordinate education for patients and families, and contribute to a high level of service on a fast-paced ICU/CTICU setting. BSN preferred; CT licensure and professional certification encouraged.
