Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Heart & Vascular ICU (HVC CTICU/CTICU-WP3) at YNHH health system. Delivers nursing care across neuro and cardiac ICU units, supervises non-RN staff, acts as charge nurse, preceptor to new staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care, with emphasis on neuro assessments, airway management, and post-operative cardiac care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
