Job Summary
RN - Heart & Vascular ICU Inpatient: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a neuro/cardiac-focused unit; supervise non-RN personnel, serve as Charge Nurse, and act as a preceptor. Requires strong neuro assessment, airway management, and familiarity with devices such as ventilators, ECMO/Impella/VADs, and post-op cardiac care; includes educating patients and families and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred or higher
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
