Job Summary
Per Diem RN provides high-quality patient care on designated daily night shifts in a Heart Failure/Cardiac PCU, performing patient assessments, implementing prescribed interventions, analyzing patient data to guide treatment decisions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. Seeks guidance from senior medical professionals on complex cases to ensure optimal patient care and adheres to established protocols. Includes duties as assigned and requires active nursing licensure in NC or a compact state and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
