Job Summary
Document patient information in the electronic health record (EPIC) following standard work guidelines while assessing and triaging patient care needs. Suggest solutions to patient care problems and coordinate care for Heart Failure and general cardiology patients, including telephone triage, advising, and consultation. Assess patient/family learning needs to carry out teaching plans and manage care coordination with cardiologists and vendor representatives. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and clinic policy. Identify and recommend solutions to departmental problems while assessing departmental function and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State Department of Health
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
