Job Summary
Document patient information in the electronic health record (EPIC) and assess and triage patient care needs for Heart Failure and general cardiology patients. Suggest solutions to patient care problems and coordinate teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs. Manage care coordination with cardiomeg patients and vendor representatives while advising patients and conducting in-office cardiovascular procedures. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and clinic policy. Assess departmental function and productivity to recommend changes as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State Department of Health
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
