Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment across all phases of preventative and acute health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers, families, and direct care staff to plan and evaluate resident care plans. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time night shift with 12-hour rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
