Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice while coordinating delivery and documentation of safe, quality care. Perform bedside shift reports to update patients and families, focusing on individualized goals and cultural diversity. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor for professional nurses and students to ensure workforce development. Uphold Wellstar Health System policies, accreditation standards, and the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- direct patient care experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
