Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and significant others to facilitate unique care plans, utilizing the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate interventions based on physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions. Coordinate and collaborate with inter-professional teams, communities, and patients in culturally sensitive, ethical, and holistic decision-making while educating patients on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others to foster a healthy work environment. Perform point of care testing as needed and execute other duties assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
