Conduct bedside shift reports, update patients and families, and prioritize individualized care plans using the nursing process. Perform clinical assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation while applying critical thinking to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for patients in the Surgery/Bariatric unit. Coordinate care through effective partnerships, participate in shared governance activities, and mentor staff or students to support the future nursing workforce. Uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards and Wellstar policies while contributing to performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice protocols.
