RN-Head Nurse OR Collierville

Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management and day-to-day operations of a nursing unit, employing the nursing process to partner with patients and families to attain, maintain and restore health. Provides clinical leadership for nursing staff, collaborates with managers/directors/CNO to meet goals, guides staff during life-threatening situations, evaluates interventions and outcomes, and leads quality-improvement initiatives. Participates in coaching, counseling, mentoring, hiring/firing, performance evaluations, staffing, payroll and productivity, and supports ongoing learning to improve health care delivery. Licensure as an RN with BLS certification within 14 days of hire is required; ACLS preferred.
