RN-Head Nurse-Med/Surg Observation

Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and day-to-day operations of the Med/Surg unit. Provides clinical leadership, coordinates the nursing process, collaborates with nursing leadership to identify improvements, and supports life-long learning. Responsibilities include interpreting and applying diagnostic data, coaching and mentoring staff, participating in performance evaluations, staffing, payroll, and activities to improve health care delivery, while ensuring safe, quality patient care and upholding patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
