RN-Head Nurse - Med/Surg - Nights

Oversee patient care, staff management, and daily operations of the nursing unit by interpreting diagnostic data, collaborating with leadership to drive departmental improvements, and intervening during life-threatening situations. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, implement innovative workflows to improve outcomes, and lead clinical activities including coaching, mentoring, hiring, firing, performance evaluations, staffing, and payroll. Communicate with colleagues to ensure safe, quality care that preserves patient autonomy while supporting life-long learning. Minimum of 2 years experience on the unit or in a similar specialty required. RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire are mandatory; ACLS preferred.
