Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit/cardiac step-down unit, systematically evaluating patient quality of life and implementing evidence-based plans of care. Collaborate with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to develop unique care goals, manage physical and social health dimensions, and educate individuals on maintaining and restoring health. Serve as a mentor and role model while performing point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned. Work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every third weekend rotation and holiday coverage. Requires an Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
